Nice picture, I think you did them justice, from what little I saw of them in the link you gave. The series looks interesting too, but I only get the barest gist of what it's about. I wonder if they did a good job on the english dub? I'll add it to my 'to watch' list.
There's no english dub as of yet. Only 7 episodes have aired in french. As to what it is about: spoilers ahead: everybody returns to Barcelone, the children show Mendoza a map they've found way back in America. They discover that they should go to China. THey fly there on the Golden Condor and have trouble with pirates. They find a mysterious cave with a sacred drum. When they beat the drum using the rythm of their hearts the walls of the cave start spinning and a message written in the language of Hiva/Mu shows up. It tells something about a yellow dragon IIRC. Then they meet a strange alchimist who came from Europe in a flying ship and he tells them that the Condor isn't made of gold but of orichalc and that the yellow dragon they're searching for is most probably in Bejing. There's a great deal more that happens there, but I've got no time to write more. MCOG2 is a good series. But it is not as good as MCOG1 was. Still it's nice to watch
Thanks, but I found that out already. I've put the series (and MCOG1) on my to watch list, but with the length of the list and the lack of time it might take a while for me to get to it. There's just not enough time in a day.
Thanks1 In fact, yesterday morning I was wondering what they would look like if they did a new season of the Mysterious Cities of Gold and the same day I learnt that they were in fact doing it; and it was one of the best moments of my life
I remember watching the 1983 series as a kid and it was just an amazing anime. The best bart of the anime was the documentary at the end. I learnt many things with this series! If you want to know more about the story: [link]. And even though I was watching it french I suppose it has a good english dub. Good watching!
